Since 1966, the British Film Club of Trieste has been giving its members the opportunity to see the best films coming out of Great Britain, Ireland and the Commonwealth. Besides the screenings at the Ariston Cinema, we have a rich collection of films, TV series and books, not to mention our Wednesday conversations to talk about something interesting in English.

Dal 1966, British Film Club di Trieste si occupa di offrire ai propri soci i migliori film in lingua inglese prodotti nel Regno Unito, Irlanda e nel Commonwealth. Oltre alle proiezioni al cinema Ariston, abbiamo una grande collezione di film, serie televisive e libri, e non dimentichiamo gli incontri ogni mercoledì per parlare insieme in inglese.
Accreditations for the Trieste Film Festival - special discounted price for BFC members
This year our institution has signed a special agreement with the Trieste Film Festival: members of the British Film Club can get cinema accreditation at the discounted price of 35€, if you purchase it by 25 December 2023: after that date, the price will be 55€.
The Trieste Film Festival is an international event with competitions in the categories of feature film, documentary and short film coming from central Europe, special events, retrospectives and screenings outside the competition, meetings with directors, masterclasses, book presentations, concerts, exhibitions and so much more!
Screenings and events will take place from 19 to 27 January 2024, at the Politeama Rossetti, the Cinema Ambasciatori and the Teatro Miela.
Your accreditation will give you entry to all the screenings, a complimentary festival bag and a free copy of the festival catalogue: it can be purchased on the website: www.triestefilmfestival.it, under the heading “Tickets and accreditations”.
Click on “Accreditation – accredited institutions”. Then click “Buy accreditation” and follow the instructions on how to insert your personal details and your season ticket number.

CONDIVIDIAMO UNA LINGUA
La più grande esperienza è l’incontro. Poter parlare e condividere una stessa lingua, per passione o per origine unisce tutti i soci del club!
Ogni mercoledì dalle 17 alle 18 presso il Circolo Ricreativo Fincantieri Wärtsila, Galleria Fenice 2, (Sala Burraco) a partire da mercoledì 8 novembre, 2023.
BIG-SCREEN MOVIES
We show 9 films every year, the latest from the UK, Ireland and the Commonwealth.
The films are shown at the Ariston Cinema, 14 Romolo Gessi Avenue, an art-house cinema in the heart of the city.
FILM IN SALA
Offriamo 9 film per stagione, recenti e provenienti dalla Gran Bretagna, Irlanda e i paesi del Commmonwealth.
I film vengono proiettati al cinema Ariston, in Viale Romolo Gessi 14, un cinema d’essai nel cuore della città.
BOOKS/DVD ON LOAN
We have a great collection of books and films in English for our members to borrow – come and take a look in our clubhouse in Via dei Crociferi 3, Trieste.
Borrowing is free but for every film you borrow, you must leave a deposit of €5 which is then returned when you bring it back.
LIBRI/DVD IN PRESTITO
Offriamo una grande collezione di libri e film in inglese, tutta a disposizione dei nostri soci nella sede di Via dei Crociferi 3 – Trieste.
Il prestito è gratuito ma è richiesta una caparra di €5 per ogni sessione di prestito.
